Skyline Guest Ranch is collaborating with Amanda Tonagel Photography to offer a luxury all-inclusive, photographers' retreat in the Beartooth Mountains of southeast Montana! This exclusive retreat combines the adventure and relaxation of a Skyline vacation package with four portrait style planned photoshoots, personalized experiences, and networking opportunities! We are excited to welcome photographers to visit the ranch for four days of horseback riding, fishing, hiking, sightseeing, and of course- photography!
This retreat is limited to seven photographers.

Day 1
Check-In & Welcome Dinner
Check into your amazing lodge accommodations during your stay at Skyline Guest Ranch! Private guest rooms are comfortable, cozy and feature private bathrooms. Join us for a welcome dinner and stories around the campfire!
Day 2
Cameras, Creeks, & Kayaks
Wake up for a sunrise horseback ride to a remote photoshoot in the Bearooth Mountains. After snapping some pictures enjoy a day of kayaking, fly-fishing lessons, and riding. Return to the ranch for dinner and relaxation before a stylized sunset shoot.

Day 3
Sights & Shutters
Begin the day with an ATV ride to the location of a sunrise shoot. Grab a sack lunch and spend the day exploring the old mining roads and wildflower meadows. Return to the ranch and clean up in time for an opportunity to get an updated headshot from fellow photographers. Enjoy dinner followed by a final sunset photoshoot.

Day 4
Explore Yellowstone
Today YOU become the cowboy! Load up the horses and head into Yellowstone National Park to experience a full day of horseback riding and fly-fishing in the remote backcountry. Our guides will help you fish for native Cuttroat trout on the world class streams of Yellowstone. The ride is breathtaking! Feel free to bring your camara gear to capture the beauty of Yellowstone's backcountry.
Day 5
Check-Out
Enjoy one more breakfast before saying your goodbyes and leaving Skyline.

Additional Information
This retreat is intended for experienced photographers looking for portfolio-building and networking opportunities while also having a unique luxury travel experience alongside others in the equine and western lifestyle photographer world. There will be no formal educational proponent or training. Sharing of knowledge and collaborative learning is strongly encouraged! A Facebook page will be created for participants to get updated information and build a community with other participants prior to arrival at the ranch.

Travel Information
It is suggested that participants use Cody Shuttle Services to arrange airport shuttles directly to the ranch from one of the following three airports.

Terms & Conditions
By participating in this photographer retreat, you agree that the images captured during the retreat may be used in your professional portfolio, shared on your social media profiles, and displayed on your personal website for promotional and educational purposes. However, you are expressly prohibited from selling these images as stock photos or using them for any commercial purposes. Furthermore, these images may not be utilized to promote your own educational workshops or retreat ventures. While providing images to the models is not mandatory, we strongly encourage participants to consider contributing to the collaborative atmosphere of the retreat by sharing their work with the models and other photographed participants. Your compliance with these terms ensures a respectful and mutually beneficial environment for all involved in this creative endeavor.
Refunds will not be offered for scheduled changes or cancellations due to weather. We reserve the right to adjust the itinerary in an effort to align activities with the best weather conditions.
Payment Schedule Payment for the retreat will occur in two parts, an initial payment of 50% is due upon booking in the form of a nonrefundable deposit. The remaining payment will be due on July 1, 2024. In the event that a participant cannot attend, the nonrefundable deposit can be applied to a future booking with Skyline Guest Ranch.
