Set out on our shortest horseback riding experience—perfect for those who want a taste of the Montana backcountry without spending a full day in the saddle. This two-hour ride departs directly from Skyline Guest Ranch and leads into the breathtaking Absaroka-Beartooth Wilderness, offering a scenic and unforgettable journey through rivers, meadows, and pine-covered ridges. Along the way, you’ll cross sparkling streams, wind through wildflower-filled mountain meadows, and climb to a high point with sweeping views of Kersey Lake. Whether you're a seasoned rider or brand new to horseback adventures, this ride is designed for all experience levels. We welcome riders ages five and up, and all participants must be able to mount and dismount their horses without the use of a mounting block. Our experienced wranglers will thoughtfully match you with one of our well-trained horses based on your age, experience, weight, and personality—ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable ride for everyone. This adventure is ideal for families and couples. A 4% Montana State Resort Tax will be added to all rides.
